😃 1. Hi Everyone! Today, I’m going to talk about the third step in building your affiliate marketing online business: and that is, to establish your online presence.
😃 2. Once you have decided on your niche and your targeted audience, e.g. “People who want to make money online, by doing affiliate marketing”, the next step is to establish your online presence in that niche.
🌻 3. You can do this by creating a blog (also called a website) that represents you, such as mine at helensguide.com.
✅️ a. Make sure your blog meets all the current online legal requirements.
✅️ b. Create an “About” page so that your visitors will know who you are, and what you do.
✅️ c. Create a “Support” helpdesk so that your visitors can contact you with any questions or suggestions.
✅️ d. Post Search Engine Optimized (i.e. SEO) posts regularly, so that your blog can start getting noticed by the Google algorithm.
✅️ e. The goal is to have your blog on the first page when visitors enter your keywords under Google search, such as “How to start an affiliate marketing online business”.
❌ ️f. Don’t go for keywords that are too broad, such as “Affiliate Marketing”, or “Online Business”, as too many people are going for that. So, the likelihood of your newly started blog to even be on Page 10 of Google search will be highly unlikely.
✅️ g. Make sure you are writing your posts for humans, i.e. your readers. Make it easy to read, by adding videos, and blog images. Don’t post ads all over the place like it’s Times Square.
✅️ h. Have an opt-in form to collect email lists from your visitors. Offer a freebie as a thank-you gift for subscribing to your email list. This can be in the form of an eBook, an online course, or a list, etc.
🌻 4. Create your social media profiles, e.g., FB profile, FB page, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube account, etc. This way, you can cross-promote across all social media channels.
